Meet the Leaders:

Nils Friberg, Emeritus Professor of Pastoral Care at Bethel Seminary, has extensive experience dealing with grief and its consequences.  He taught pastoral care for twenty-seven years, including topics such as crisis intervention, grief counseling, and related topics.  He has lost two wives to metastatic breast cancer and has served as a police chaplain since 1986, dealing mostly with grieving families. His ministry career began with a decade of service as a missionary in Brazil. 

Ralph Johnson was a special agent with a federal law enforcement agency for twenty-five years before retiring from there in 2002. Since then, he has worked as an investigator/consultant for financial institutions, another federal law enforcement agency, and a private investigations firm. He is active in a number of ministries at his church, including serving as a coordinator for various care groups – DivorceCare, DivorceCare for Kids, and GriefShare.
